Arrival in Chicago
Last week, Monroe Tractor Batavia employees and 20 customers traveled to Illinois and Wisconsin for red carpet tours of Case IH facilities. After flying out of Buffalo, NY Monday morning, the group landed in Chicago, IL and MT provided breakfast at Blueberry Hill Breakfast Cafe.
Tour #1: CNH Industrial
Their first stop was at the CNH Engineering facility in Burr Ridge, IL for a guided tour. Here, they were able to see many of the precise and stringent tests CNH performs to ensure high standards and longevity of their products. After the tour, the group drove to Milwaukee, WI for a quick snack at Lakefront Brewery.
Magnum Round Table
Next, the group headed to Racine, WI for a banquet sponsored by Case specifically for MT customers. They treated everyone to a prime rib dinner and drinks. Our group had the opportunity to meet with the Magnum plant manager, marketing director, high horsepower specialist, and many other CNH employees in a round table format to learn more about the equipment.
Tour #2: Racine Experience Center
After breakfast Wednesday morning, the group went to the Racine Experience Center for a facility tour. This plant is where the Case IH Magnum Series tractors are manufactured. After the tour Case provided a pulled pork lunch and had another open Q&A session with CNH employees to discuss the history of the plant and machines they produced, learn about new products, and reps were available to answer any questions or concerns.
A Special Surprise
The Case IH Autonomous Concept Vehicle returned from a trip overseas while the group was there. The engineers who built the machine were on-site so they got to see it driven around and parked in the Case Experience Center.
Overall it was a quick but action-packed trip, full of laughs and unforgettable experiences with some great people.
