Monroe Tractor

Merging of Elmira and Hornell stores.

February, 2017

Dear Valued Customer,

As we enter into 2017 the staff at Monroe Tractor in Hornell would like to take a moment to keep you up-to-date on what we have going on. As many of you are aware, we have been looking to build a new facility and have finally settled on a central location in the Campbell/Savona area. We feel that this location is best suited to serve both our Hornell and Horseheads customers the same as we always have, if not better with the new space it will provide. Barring any major setbacks, we anticipate being in the new facility by the end of the 2017.

With that plan in place, we have decided as of March 31st we will be closing the Hornell location and consolidating staff and inventory into our Horseheads location. Our thinking behind this is it will make the final move quicker, create a stronger team and allow for more focused customer service.

We are aware that you have concerns about this impacting our service, but rest assured, we will be there to keep you working. Dan Acomb will continue as an in-territory factory trained service rep, we will be adding a full-time Product Support Rep and we will implement a drop box service area. For any large jobs that cannot be done onsite, we will provide discounted trucking while we transition. For your sales needs, we will continue to have a full-time whole goods salesman in the Hornell territory.

Finally I want to say thank you in advance for your patience during this consolidation process. You are welcome to call me at anytime with questions and/or concerns. Please know that Monroe Tractor is here to support you and you will continue to be our number one priority during this transition time.

Sincerely,

Kris Bower, Branch Manager
